Student Services
At Coyne American Institute, we take an active interest in ensuring the success of each of our students. You are never "just another student."
Academic Assisting
Assistance with academic and professional matters of concern is an important aspect of Student Services. Academic assistance is usually provided through instructors because they are most familiar with a student's work. However, further assistance is always available through the Operations Manager, Advising Staff, and Director. Everyone at our school maintains an “open door” policy to all students.
Financial Assistance
The financial assistance programs that are available to qualifying
students are the following:
- Pell Grant – a federal grant program designed to assist students demonstrating financial need.
- Federal Loan Programs
- Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits – an educational benefit program under the Veterans Administration for certain disabled veterans.
- Social Security – benefits available to certain individuals with a parent who is receiving Social Security or has a deceased parent covered by Social Security.
Scholarships
We participate in the "Imagine America" scholarship program, which is managed by the Career Training Foundation in Washington, DC. Interested individuals can see their high school counselor or our high school representative for information.
Career Resource Center
Our library facility includes technical journals, periodicals, books and reference material relevant to each field of study. Students will also have access to computer workstations, training videos, training software and career development resources.
In addition, Coyne offers job placement assistance services.
